Changes
-31_1 fix bug when sleeping, and key messages.
-Sprint by dashing.
-Enemies retain hp values when you leave
-Bushes that grow fruit every 4 days.
-Jiggly graphics fixed.
-Healthbars
-Help menu (which lies about N)

Notes
It will be possible to toggle names and health bars.
Health bars may also disappear after a moment.

Need to fix jiggly text.

  5. Great update Kyrieru, hope you're doing well. Been waiting for a way to recover health and bring some survival gameplay in. You're closer to that so I'm loving this. Nice to see names return again too, encountered an orc named "Sexy", which isn't wrong he was pretty thicc.

    A little note, are you going to do anything else with the top left portrait? Maybe you could make the portrait display states: normal/hit/down/tired, etc. I think that would be a pretty neat detail.

    Keep up the great work, each update my admiration grows. Won't be long until I'm stalker status.

    That opens so many possibilities!
    From real hit&run strats to making one lose track of you (leave and come back on the patch) while setting them up for defeat by another creature...If some flee on low health an creatures behaviors affect how others reacts, it may possible in the future to create controlled chain reactions thanks to that feature.

    It's so frustrating when you have to retreat and come back to an area just to see everyone but you back to full health in most games. I'm sure there will be ways for them to rest and heal over time (like eating fruits) but retaining health value even when the player leave the zone is an interesting and quite rare mechanic when you think of it.

    1. They currently heal 25% hp per day. Later it will have more to it though.

    2. That seems like a nice fundation for this system. 25% is kinda what's expected for default regen. I suppose that poisoned characters will have "0% HP heal + lose poison status" and other fançy stuff may happen based on various conditions as future recoveries.

      Since this one is not a H-update, is next in schedule the pleasure system? Then farming which is a bigger chunk of work, and you'll finish phase 1 with inter-map + last enemy since that will be time for another H-update, right?

      When clothes will be back, will there be a templade for modding (visuals only) the animation sheet of the default outfit? It may be a good compromise if it have +0 stats, to have each playable character's default outfit get the "cosmetics" treatment a bit after they're released.

  9. So when you equip either the log or berry in your weapon slot, it deals -1 damage to things. it doesnt heal the target you hit but your damage is negated.

    whats the current plan for the dark green areas on the map? also do you have plans for cameo armors (or clothes) based on other projects of yours?

  14. I found some visual errors while playing:
    -When putting a box with the construction system, that box will cover us if we pass behind the box, it also happens with the fruit bushes.
    -When we grab item from the ground, the item will be drawn on the character's hand when we carry it, but when we save it. and we grab another the item will no longer be drawn on the hand. This happens on the same map if we go to another map, the same will happen if we repeat the previous step.
    -The trees shine during or when it gets dark. (possibly by invisible fireflies).

    Suggestions:
    -Now that the enemies have names, it would be nice if some enemies like the cat girl have names related to their species, such as -hot pussy cat-, because a cat girl named Aalyco O Qoey does not make much sense.
    -It would be nice to press a key to run fast, Obviously consuming stamina and the dash movement would use it to ram and hit enemies.

    And some questions:
    -The fruit icon, what does it represent? An apple, a cherry or another type of fruit?
    -Are you planning to put more edible foods as well as a need to drink or wash your body with water?
    -Do you plan to put more biomes such as deserts, snow, jungle among others?
    -How does Sprint by dashing work? I know you can dash and trip over the ground, but for now you can't run.

    1. "Hot pussy cat" doesn't makes a sense as character name. Who in their right mind would name their daugther like that? Well except
      the MC because of players...If they go with suggestions or patreon choices as possible names it will quickly become worse than just some fantasy randomness.

      The fruit represent that, a (generic) fruit, for testing purposes. If you paid a minimum of attention there's a farming system coming up, so there will be more types of edibles and needs indeed.

      This is only phase 1, akin to pre-alpha, not even all game mechanics are to be expected when this phase ends. There was a cave shown at one point so there will be other biomes, but it's silly to expect all the content to be dropped so early.

      Each character seems to have their own moveset, so it make sense the human is cautious, and others like the cat have greater mobility options. It's not a question of "Bruh, humans can run too, d'uh!" but of making each character's playstyle distincs from eachothers.

      If you're new, please look at the roadmap and previous updates posts (not comments, just what the dev discussed) and you'll find alot of answers to your questions.

    2. I've considered monster specific names, however it would come down to name structure, rather than real words.

      for example instead of totally random the way it is now, it would be more like goblins would be called things like "morglo" "Gobrus"
      "gormza" instead of something like "Leiyu" which would be more sophisticated. It would be done by changing which sounds can be used.

      I'm actually still considering if I want to do mugshots for other enemies or not. There are also things I could do for things like kissing or groping, using a limited number of images in combination with flavor text.

  17. I still can't dominate catgirls, is that normal? I KO them, press shift and they slide towards me, but then nothing happens. They just keep sliding.

  21. I found a bug? Nothing game breaking but funny as hell.

    Apparently, If you continuously attack a knocked out enemy while you have 0 Stamina, Then wait till you have stamina and hit them, They go fucking flying. I'm guessing because 0 stamina attacks don't do knock back or something and it was stored up? or something else. either way fun to do.
