Don't bother reporting bugs, there will be plenty
Up button doesn't work for an attack since it interferes with climbing, so this won't stay the same. If anything, it will be up + attack.
New H animation is a little rough. The animation "type/pose" is not fully programmed yet so it doesn't function 100% correctly.

I was looking everywhere for the newboy for a couple minutes before I got the hint from the sketch. Gotta say, great job with the spooky wind in the background. They make the shack feel really claustrophobic. Then I noticed the holes outside.
ReplyDeleteVore's not my cuppa joe, but he's got great animations in general. Will he be there every time or just for special occasions?
Also, I like the new hit sound, but now the attack(swing) sound feels just a bit too loud.
There is another night enemy that will appear that is more common and weaker, and the guy in this version will only come out when it's super late. Time will not move as fast once there is actual stuff to do.

DeleteCan confirm that you can kill the new enemy. I managed to isolate one and fought it for two and a half in game day and night cycles. Can't recommend, but hey, it gave me a fruit.
I don't know why, but my anti virus (Norton) freaks the hell out when I launch this update, then proceeds to delete it and the rar I extracted it from and tells me to restart my computer.

Dunno, there's nothing different about it other than the new stuff.
Deletecould you perhaps make it so that the enemy attack isn't an insta-KO. perhaps it could start as a grapple that drains your HP and/or stamina quickly, even if the chance to escape is slim, it would be cool to see at least a little bit of struggle
ReplyDeleteI guess it's an insta only for test purposes and the last bit about escaping such specific type of grapple isn't programmed yet. Invincible from the outside (unless hitting right in the face with an arrow?) and tearing your way out on struggle seems the natural way to tackle this kind of monsters.
DeleteFor the most part, these monsters wont be intended to be fought. They're mostly meant to be an "oh fuck" kind of enemy.
Deletei understand it being an enemy to avoid, but if they grab you, will you have a chance to escape, or will it always be a 100% one hit KO. because if you do add in a small chance to escape, it could add some tension for when you get caught and then escape with only 1 HP. like something smilier to that one vore monster in kurovadis, where if it grabs you it takes away around 60 HP every second or so if i recall correctly. so for the most part it will KO you, but you can escape if mash the buttons quickly enough and have enough HP

ReplyDeleteAt first, throwing my collection of swords at them from the safety of the higher ground was fun (as they seems to have terrible enough jump to be stuck on a cliff) when one suddenly was able to attack...Well, you can clearly feel how dangerous they are. Learning their range and speed was quite a surprise for sure. xD
I hope there will be some struggle in the future, or even make it invincible and you can only rip it from inside on successful struggle! That would be a styllish pseudo puzzle-boss...
Also I love throwing items to create chain reactions, and getting them back in the inventory by pressing the button at the right time. (even if I guess attacking at the right time works to bounce it back too) It's the same funny risk/reward than messing with items in smash bros.
Putting aside the fact that it's a porn game, this new enemy is amazing!

DeleteWhen I try to run the application my Antivirus instantly deletes it for reason "suspicious behavior" did you guys put some sort of Hijack in the application files or something? or is there another reason for this?
ReplyDeleteIt's your Antivirus being paranoic yeah, just add it to detection exceptions.
DeleteWhile my anti-virus didn't throw a fit over this one, opening it just utterly freezes my laptop into non-responsiveness. Gets about as far as starting to open the game window then everything locks up. Other versions have and still do run fine, though I haven't tried v23 yet.

Did some other stuff, came back, made sure it ran through admin and it worked fine, then seems to work fine in general. So, no idea what was up with it before, probably something on my end so disregard all this.

She is enjoying it because the animations are shared between enemies. So there is no distinction between having sex with something scary and something pleasant. The cat is also meant a little more carefree than the human protagonist, which is why she smiles more in general, in her H animations.

Pregnancy will exist, but it will likely not be shown in an explicit way. There will probably be some sort of "fertility shrine" or some other thematic mechanic that allows you to give birth.
For birth, why not just use the regular rest event. Use the bed, the screen blacks out as usual, you hear a baby's cry or a monster's howl or whatever, and when the screen comes back there's a tiny critter crawling around your shack.

The trouble isn't the birth part, so much as it's "what do you show in the womb".

3 stages of the same meaty, red and vague thing would probably work for most monsters. For bonus vagueness put a heavy pixellated censor over the whole xray.
DeleteOr do them vague, but with a body type: human, humanoid monster, quadruped monster/beast, egg and slithery thing(slug, tentacle, whatever). If each has 3 stages, that's 15 still, unanimated small sprites.
Or just use the xray as a jizz counter and ignore the whole fetus thing. Even if you add it, some people will prefer to not see it, so add an option to disable its sprite.
how about you just have the womb appear "solid" as in its no longer a cross section. and it slowly grows bigger in the xray overtime

ReplyDeleteOk, I got it working by running compatability troubleshooter, but I couldn't figure out how to start a level. I walked across every border of the map screen, stood on the house, pressed every key on the keyboard, nothing.

ReplyDeleteYou can't yet. The human player will only be usable once she has been reworked. To use the human you must go back to the version just before version: cat.
