Notes
The lumber box will be used to store wood. Wood stored in the lumber box will allow it to be used anywhere within the same zone.
Needless to say, there will be requirements for buildings things later. The lumber box will require some wood to be in your inventory, for example.
If a bug is easy to find, I already know about it.

Got this error after placing the lumber box and returning to the area. No clue how useful it will be, but I'll still let you know.
No need to be hesitant about that, it makes sense that you have to buy clothes and armor in town, or to loot it on other characters you attack or defended against. Same for weapons aside of low-tier ready to use objects, really.
DeleteYou could implement a system of "buy full price OR bring the required materials to have a discount" in stores. Order a piece of equipment by paying the discounted price upfront, it unlock a quest (really just a reminder of what you have to bring) then you get it when you're done. Abandon the quest and you get back half of what you paid, or just pay the remaining price. The "collect when adventuring" spirit remain, but you let a professional artisan NPC do the work.
Weapon/Armor craft is quite advanced. As gameplay goes it would make sense you have to get enough affinity with merchant before they teach you their craft (station recipe).
Will clothes be destructable as in once you lose it you lose it for good? Would be neat to have a reason to run being naked since if you don't have additional gear and your clothes break.
DeleteOh please no, perma-loss of equipments is NOT a good ide in a farming centred game... But a "broken" state in which the clothes don't fit you (would make sense for armors) and you have to get it in your inventory (throwing away other things if you don't have the space for it at the moment) to repair the equipments back home, now that could be a compromise that spice things up.

DeleteOr humanoid monsters could steal them from you if they walk over the items while you're locked in a grapple, so you have to defeat that one monster (probably stronger if they equip the thing) if you want them clothes back.
There's way more fun solutions than perma-loss of equipment. Imagine you retreat, not taking the risk to chase a goblin who stole your things, just to find it listed in the goblin merchant's shop once you finally can access their village...Now that's not just a random punishing game, it's your story.

ReplyDeleteNot sure if you are aware but if you press the up and down arrow together you can glide across the screen
ReplyDeleteShift create a box, up+down = super dash to infinite, u cant go inside the house after you leave it, or if u can go inside after you leave it you cant go outside same crash error (create the lumber box), H animations work great no crash or bugs but shift still cant be used cuz is creating box and freeze the screen like youre in the creation menu but without the menu and you need to press again shift and after that enter to go back to the game, keep doing this ups are bugs that can be removed faster.

Seems like we still miss one ennemy as animations goes. There was a cave being worked on at one point so I wouldn't be surprized they're introduced at the same time for that biome.
We have not see other catgirls as ennemies, so there's also hope for an animation of them annoying the human girl when she'll be back.
But I guess that's it when it comes to new characters animations for this phase.

DeleteA sap, as in someone who's sappy, overly sentimental and cloying. It might be a little dated. However, you're correct in that tree sap does in fact not make much noise normally.

DeleteWill the infinite jump roll glitch be kept as a late game screw attack feature for the cat? You can fly through entire map sections with it and it's illegal amounts of fun.
