-Storage chest.

Notes:
Opening the inventory near a container will allow you to transfer items to the container.
Using the container will also go directly to the inventory. (right now they are all linked together, but it will not be this way in the future.)

Throwing wood at the lumber box will add to a wood count. This count is what will be used to build things. The count will be per-patch, so having high wood at home will not allow you to build in other patches.

  1. I found some interesting things:
    -The wooden counter does not have a limit, it can go from 100 wooden units with the P key.
    -I found a curious error when you open the storage chest and move an object to the inventory 4 blocks area and when you move it down in the 4th place that produces the error (the object floats up).
    -The enemies no longer get inside the house, I don't know if it will be a bug or if it is a change for future relationships with them.
    -On occasions the house appears on the edge of the map taking you outside.

    For now the game is on the right track. Some things like farming are missing but I am sure that in the future they will be available, in terms of basic survival.

    1. Yeah, farming is listed in the roadmap.
      It's kinda logical we get "storage/inventory" and "regrow over time" done before the systems that relies on it. Next may be "craft" (use fruit to get seeds) and actually "place/plant/construct" before farming can even be done reliably.

      Seems like a given considering how spoiled we are nowdays, but things like this or fishing minigames requires their share of work to make.
      Which make me think...
      It would be fun if we get a fishing minigame with the chance to "fish" creatures/mermaids if they collide with the hook. Getting water creatures out of water so they're way weaker on land can be a valid strategy to secure an area.

  2. out of curiosit, and not that i care for it, but will there be a maturity toggle? (A ⇔ M)
    it'd be interesting to add that in to reach a broader audience.

    me, personally, i'd keep it set to A at all times lol

    3. Look at this non-believer...They never heard of the words of wisdom the catgirl wishper during her kiss animation.

      Or alternatively one could grab the update the animation was introduced in, if they want to see this one specifically. There were other animations that were cut, in the really early versions. A standing animation with octo and I guess slug too? Check the updates descriptions and you may find cut content in there.

    However, It would be awesome if we could change the basic controls like movement, my keyboard doesnt have arrow keys :)

  5. Fun update. I like collecting things. It got me wondering too if eventually you intend for entities to drop specific items when defeated or gift items when befriended?

    I might be getting a little ahead here, but for instance needing fur in case making clothes would be a thing.

    And a final question, do you intend to make items stack to a certain amount? Or continue as singular only?

    1. Items won't stack. Most enemies will only drop what theyre holding in their inventory, though there will be some less intelligent enemies that act more as traditional enemies that have specific drops.

    2. Do you mean, like, deer that just run around and drop venison when killed, or stuff like slimes that can totally still sex and be sex'd but lack a brain and aren't smart enough to have relationship stats?

    4. Items won't stack because I want the player to be limited in what they take with them at any given time. That said, the gameplay will be based around the idea that you have few slots so I will be doing things to make sure it doesn't become annoying.

    5. I don't mind that in games at all. As long as item drops are in scale of inventory space and demand. If you have 8 slots, I feel like you should probably get drops around like every 4th enemy or so.

      It wouldn't be possible to retrieve wood from a lumber box again, would it? Does the lumber box act as a one-way portal to your wood for that area?

    6. a good idea i wanna forward to help with the inventory mechanic is perhaps a "postal service" where you can build post boxes around, and at the end of the day/week/etc, someone delivers it to your house. the delivery boy/girls could be hired from towns and are payed money or "services". or perhaps a follower you recruited (like a goblin or a cat-girl) could be tasked with it, and their stats affect how well they do their jobs

    After we give birt to the "mini" monster, he will follow we floating and each tipe of "mini" monster will give a buff in the stats.

  10. i have a few ideas for enemies if you wanna use them:

    harpy/bird-type or enemies: swoops down to attack. if you get knocked down near it, it might try to carry you off to its den

    snail: the same as slug but with a shell sprite placed on it, its shell gives it extra defence and it takes the player into its shell to fuck.

    Vargr/wolf-man: a humanoid wolf type enemies, if it climaxes then it will knot you. knots are hard to wriggle out of, and the warg will carry you around, perhaps it could even take you back to their den where a whole pack live

    slime shape shiftier: a slime creature that takes the shape of random enemies that you have previously met, but with a slimy translucent effect over them.

    alrune: stationary enemies. acts like a fly trap that emit a sweet scent that makes the player horny and tries lure them in, also lures in other enemies. uses tentacles on girls and a alrune body on guys. if a male gets captured, it grows a fruit with a seed that can be eaten or planted. girls are filled with "nectar" that "impregnates" them with a seed that can be planted

    Bees: bee people that come from a hive that acts like a dungeon, scouts can be found travelling around the overworld, soldiers can be found near and in the hive and at the centre is the queen.

  12. the Nekos enter a constant state of falling when you knock them so you cant actually enter a H scene with them unless you get knocked but that makes you ned to restart

  13. I kind of like the fact you can throw logs into the bin. mostly because you dont have to really run that close to bin all the time.

    will there be a way to increase personal storage? (like a backpack)

  15. Its been a while since im following this game and im genuinely impressed about the smooth gameplay in this not so early stage. If we dismiss the bugs , which are normal , its a really good experience for those who like pixel art animation. Anyway , don't force yourself to put out an update if you don't feel like it , take your time because we all know you can surprise us every update that comes out from your very hard work.

    1. This thing is supposedly being made "on the side" so there may be dev'time allocated to main games already.

      With phase 1 being the one that needed the most stuff to get this project running, it wouldn't be surprizing more time was used to finish it quickly and switch to "working on main games outside of weekends, then small updates for this one worked on the weekend" starting at Phase 2.

      Been quite a while since the last update about the Noakia or the one with the cute doggy. That one looked super fun because of the faster pace of action.

  17. I wonder if you gonna add the H-Scenes when the girl is sleeping on the bed during the night when home invasion happen, i mean that during the scenes she's still sleeping when the monsters start H-scenes with her. Maybe make it as random chance or something..

    1. There is not much point in doing that right now as the basic features are still being developed, maybe when he starts working on phase 2 we'll get something reassembling a proper gameplay he'll add those in

    2. I guess it will be introduced at the same time as "ennemy inter-map movement" is done since they're supposed to move between each day or when you sleep. Once this is programmed, defining knock-out as a trigger may works, so it make sense to wait for the full game mechanic to be finished.

      That or the dev don't care for now as there's currently no progress anyway...Aside of storing wood that serves no purpose for now, I guess.
