Pretty small update. A lot of time was spent doing future work for other stuff, but not much of it is seen in this update. For now, only the cat can kiss, and performs it like other animations. Later this will not be the case, but for now it is the only way.
Press P to preview what it might look like when pleasure is maxed out.
You can press page up or down to flip through some variations.
Pressing space will do a flash that will happen in a few cases.
Sounds in general need to be overhauled. In terms of when certain sounds are used.
The kiss doesn't have a good sound effect yet. I also need to reintegrate the voice properly.
I also temporarily disabled cum splashes because it will also be overhauled to account for depth. As it is now, it appears over stuff and that's no good.
Maxed pleasure is super ero, I love it. By the way, is the next week's update another H update?

ReplyDeleteIs kissing an animation in of itself? Or does it automatically lead into another scene?
A side note, I think it actually works better without the splash to me. It's subtle, but I like it. I'm still looking forward to what you come up with.
Also you can't move to another area if you have fruit in your hand. It crashes.
Kissing is currently behaving like a normal animation, but it won't later.
Deletehello this is my 1 time in the comments but I have been watching the game for some time, I found your game very good and promising and I would like to share some ideas like enemies like ork (I'm not sure if it's an ork) the cat, atc with its sex opposite,like a male cat to interact with the character, it could also put interactions with more than 2 individuals at the same time and while only illustrating the inside of the character, a full animated image of the character could appear, I know this must be very difficult to do but it would be nice in the end these are some ideas that I would like to have in your game, until the next PS (I'm using a translator to write this, I'm Brazilian)

DeleteFor me, the game crashes once the cat entity grabs and either have sex or kisses me. I feel like I'm doing something wrong here, or it could be a bug (I have that bug for a while now)

DeleteThere's no crafting system yet. The amulet's a debug tool that lets you choose animations with left and right during H, you have to use an inventory overflow bug to get it. There's a comment in one of the blog posts after wood was intruduced that explains the bug.

DeleteYou need to fill your inventory with wood, have one piece of wood the ground and have one in your hands. Then throw the wood in your hands at one of those ghost guys, pick up another wood from the floor and pick up the flying wood while it's still in the air. If you did everything right, the first piece of wood'll turn into the amulet after you pick it up.

The amulet's ID/name (woodbang) is alphabetically the first after wood, that's why it happens.

Deleteyou need to use the konami code after killing one of each mob and then jump backwards three times, letting one of the night ghosts eat you then enter and exit your house 6 times which then opens up the debug menu to show you all 300 animations

DeleteHonestly, the "feed them" idea isn't stupid per say if done right. "The safer and healtier the kid was, the better their base stats and grow rates gets once locked" seems logical enough to add challenge and reward to character's transition.
As for the breastfeed fetish that may motivate such demands...You may still see it (even if a mother feeding her baby isn't supposed to be fetishy) when coming back home after a hard day of exploration if you switch to the father, so it's a win for everyone in both wolesome and rewarding categories.
Here’s a not fetish-fueled way to tackle this :
The mother is stuck at home with the kid and the phase would continue for a week before a time-skip occurs. Unless a small one-year time-skip occurs between each day. From that base, different strategies can occur to provide the kid the best possible transition to teen/adult.
A) You have stocked up all what you need at home beforehand, from food to toys and training gears. You just have to trigger feed/play/teach events and go to sleep each day till the timeskip. (so it’s taken care of in a few minutes)
B) Luckily, it was the offspring of a consensual act, you ask the father to take responsability. Switch gameplay to the father who have to get the ressources for the whole familly and still stay close enough so the area around the house is safe.
C) You are super popular and capitalize on the « appeal bonus » to ask for favors. Friends can gift you items so you take care of gardening and your kid’s education without leaving the house.
D1) You’re alone, but have quite the collection of pets (one of wich...may be the father?). They can defend the house zone while you’re away doing what needs to be done for your kid.
D2)Or you may switch gameplay to one of them pets for it to hunt/forage while you stay home.
B and D2 are kind of the same, except it’s to be expected that humanoids gets access to more tools and ways to get things (Unless it’s common place to send your slug pet to the village’s groceries shop?) but both cases would allow to «play as other races » during this phase (and have them go « play with monstergirls » along the way). Any method can partially be combined with another, like leaving the father in charge of the kid while you’re away, or asking favors to befriended NPCs even if you have father/pets NPCs at home.
The hardest trnsition would be solo mom without asking favors and without pets to protect the zone. Not really sure of what the consequences would be for the kid aside of lower stats/grow…
As for when the timeskip occurs, a massive social/traits change could happen worldwide. The new character starts in a similar context, but other characters relationships have changed during these years, some may have disapeared, others may be born and are new kid NPCs. One firend’s kid may even have gained some « childhood friend » trait (better social grow rates) with your kid. So it would really feel like a transition.

Things I haven't figured out yet are eating, wood placement/construction, escaping at zero health.
Is there something besides menu navigation bound to W/S? Will there be any tooltips/clickables for navigation?
Game is still pretty early in dev, you can't do anything with wood rn, there is no placement/crafting/construction of anything, also when your life is at 0 it's as if you died, you can't escape you need to restart the game

Deleteyou can eat the wood. wouldnt advise doing so since the berry update changed it from restoring hunger to making you more hungry and dealing damage.

You can do something with the wood. Try to place a few of them in a pit, keep one on hand, and throw it there when someone's nearby. It makes for funny chain reactions and gobs playing woodball. xD
