Wont be an update this past weekend. Need to program and do some stuff to implement what I was working on, so will have to wait till next weekend.

Was working and trying to decide how kissing would work. The plan is that kissing will have one main pose, with three directions of leaning, depending on who is being dominant. (and a few other parts.)



Seems trivial, but I had to spent quite a while deciding how the pose could work. Certain angles require more sprites, or certain positioning to transition well. Also need to use a pose that works well with enemies of different sizes.

Anyhow, thats all for now.

To answer a question about the stat post; you will be able to make decisions that fly in the face of your traits. Because traits would only reduce the amount of love,happiness, stats benifits, debuffs, etc, from having sex, or interacting with something, the player can still do them, the function of those things just might not be viable in the same strategies.

Also, when an enemy requests something, you will be able to manually choose. However, you will also be able to let it choose automatically based on your stats. Another option might be that making a choice opposite from your stats comes with a price (like happiness or energy), as a difficulty option.

  4. I'm sure that image on the right is just you messing around with poses, but you probably have a handful of people who are really into selfcest that would love to have doppelgangers in the game. Or at least one person.

    1. No need of dopple, you just need ro roll a character with the same looks as you (or go get a haircut to look like them? xD) among the human population of the game. Not saying that Dopple are bad or anything, just that it's fairly easy to find a look-alike considering the nature of the game.

  5. i wonder what would happen if two enteties with the same level of dominance engage with each other ? would they try to outperform each other like : A: im doing you ! B :noo im doing you !!! or would they just engage each other harmonic (sorry for bad english)

    1. Sub/dom will probably always be equivalent between entities. If you rape an entity, you would get +1 dom, and they would get -1, towards each other. So if you are dom to an entity, they will always be sub, and if you are neutral then so are they.

      It's between entities though, so they may be sub to you, but dom to something else.

    2. What if the player have a "sub" score but try to dom' someone above their score? Will they succed/fail at random until the other entity lose enough points to become sub to them?

      That would be quite the gamble mechanic, risquing to make the other one even more of a dom' from always requestiong their attention.

  6. If the player gets a good relationship with a certain entity, for example, the cat. Will you eventually be able to build a house or sleeping place for it? So you can pretty much... "Keep" it?. This could also include interactions.

    1. I guess entities will occupy abandoned houses even if not "friends". They just become a non-aggressive neighbor once befriended. You can keep them if there's only your house in the zone and you don't constantly kick them out of it. They may even defend the place against other creatures who enters uninvited...Or not...But a player can dream! xD

  11. First of all, not all creatures have to kiss. It also depends on your plans about relationships and traits in general. Can one find true love with a slug or will non humanoids be restricted to "pets with benefits" for the humanoid races of their biomes? Sounds silly, but it define your animation needs.

    If you keep kissing and deep relationships to humanoids, it already solve alot of the problems you may encounter. That leaves non-humanoid in a "playfully assault/be teased" dynamic when befriended.

    Of course, that doesn't mean there can't be a sitting, on-all-fours or on-back kiss fitting shorter species. But these are poses that can easely be reused for lovers after sex.

    A good balance for creatures would be
    1- monsters have a unique dom’only "playful" animation (like the octo on face) instead of dom’kiss
    2- the humanoids can actually choose the main animation/position rather than having one picked at random by using the « charm  action + direction » to choose a pose in social mode, then their befriended monster respond to the offer.

    Tease/presenting poses tends to have alot in common with sex poses, they could easely be done as fast to edit variations of the pose they lead into. Such poses can easely be reused for self-play animation since they’re basically that anyway.

    A fun implemententation could be that you have only 4 predefined teases possible and for each monster 3 of the poses are « wrong » (resulting of being dominated) and 1 trigger a unique foreplay (instead of dom’kiss) that lead into the dom’s sex domination or a unique sex animation.

    So, to summarize:

    Around 4 kiss animations (and their leaning variation) may be able to cover much humanoid situations for the whole game, even if most are situational.

    4 self-play/charm animations would be a good start to tease (humanoids can be teased too) plus take care of non-humanoids and add more spices to creatures with more "outgoing/lewd" traits. (Some can tease instead of assault)

    As NPC goes, their tease/self-play animations can be restricted to the "right ones" for creatures of their biomes. That is a nice way to teach the player which ones to use to get special animations. (They still can use "the right one for creature A" when teasing "creature B who expected another animation" which reslt in being dominated)

    As Player goes, you'd only have 4 avaiable, but can be changed in the menu as you learn more. For a new character, you restart with the four basic ones and can learn the other ones from your previous character's journal with the malus of ruining your character's innocence (one lewd/fetish trait, boosted lewd stats/ gain)

      Saving and loading wont be for a while.
