Notes
Spawn a watering can to mess around with by pressing space.
The workbench can be created and placed, but it does not function yet. It will be used to create tools like the watering can.

ReplyDeleteIt is interesting how the future farm system is taking shape, We still do not know what crops we can plant, Although I can give some ideas:
ReplyDelete- crops like wheat, potatoes, carrots, among other basic crops are good to start.
- that certain crop plants have a chance to appear on the map as the fruit tree where we can get the seed from them, or that we can buy it from an npc (if villages are included in the future).
- An oven or campfire would be ideal for cooking wheat bread, potatoes or fish (if fishing is included in the future).
- The flower plant could throw clouds of aphrodisiacs at the player and try to catch the character from a close distance.
Some fun and interesting things I found:
- a hostile enemy accidentally hits a neutral one, automatically it becomes hostile against the player instead of the enemy, I know relationships are in progress but it's fun to watch.
- sometimes the flower plant appears very close to the entrance of the house
- the octopus creature keeps making sounds after being knocked out (I reported it from several versions back)
- Many watering cans can make a huge mess if you put them between an aggressive foe and a deep terrain area.
- You can use the watering can while jumping, the same with other movements such as eating objects or offering things, in addition to watering the knocked enemies.
- When you save multiple items in the inventory, the collected items are not shown as graphic after a second time in the hand that causes a crash when we equip it.
Spawning many cans in a pit and punching them while a creature try to kick them too is DBZ level of epic. Hit effects everywhere in slow motion! It serves no purpose, but it's funny. The more creatures are fighting, the more absurd it become.
DeleteDuels of cats is the best, grab som popcorn for an epic fight. xD
I found some new errors:
Delete- the plant flower can be knocked out by any enemy or by the player if we use an object and throw it (which give the most results are the octopus and slug)
- The N key does not fulfill its function of toggle name enemy display, or is it not programmed yet?
Before I said about a hostile enemy accidentally hits a neutral one, I checked it and it happens in 2 different ways:
- If a hostile enemy hits a neutral enemy towards the character, this neutral enemy can attack the hostile enemy or become hostile against the player.
- if 2 hostile enemies hit each other, they directly decide to attack the player or decide to attack each other.
And also when is the next update?
Anon: And about the cat girl duels it was amazing before now everyone chases you when you knock down a tree or inadvertently hit one of them, maybe one day we can give fish to the cat girls, to build a relationship with benefits.
There were mention of the menu "lying about N" which imply it's not implemented or was just a debug function from a previous update.
DeleteThe fact the flower can be knocked out may be intentional. Does it still grab you when in this state? Because it may make sense to have a possibility to "disable them till next day" in future leveldesign.
I've seen more neutral creatures choosing to attack me but didn't really noticied aggressive ones changing target. Since they don't seems to evaluate eachothers yet, maybe it override their current target when you're in range to be re-evaluated?
And yes, catgirls are epic! Can't wait to befriend them and "ask to follow me" to go on adventure with a gang of cats just jumping around and kicking butts while I collect stuff. xD
Anon: The flower plant once knocked will not do anything to you. for the plant to restart, just enter the house to sleep, sometimes it can change places in the map.
DeleteSpeaking of cat girls when they were available to test from version 21.cat to version 28, they had an ability that allowed us to climb walls.
- What happened to that ability?, and is it possible to program the climbing ability in non-playable cat girls?
They could climb things like high walls or climb trees to avoid the night enemy or other dangers.
And I found a visual bug in the night enemy's life bar, it is known that he have a lot of life, but his life bar is purely long.
i have always liked the offering pose. Lufu-chans face in that pose is very cute. "please take this"

There's still no player dominating catgirl animation but at least we can make them wet now. Baby steps toward progress were made! xD

ReplyDeleteInteresting feature, not needed but nice that it was added, you can eat logs or the watering can. However it is accurate in the fact that if you shove a whole log or watercan in your mouth you're bound to take damage. Found that kind of funny.
ReplyDeleteJust wait till people try to eat legendary swords and metals...Maybe one random object in the game should be able to give a temporary powerup (like full invincibility 1 minute then KO you instantly) as a joke. xD

ReplyDeleteThe thing is i dont know what to do with your game as off yet. I understand the basic comands, but nothing beyond that. Like how to eat or what is my objective if I have any. Would be nice if your game had a optional guide or dialogue box explaining what to do, right now I an lost. I understand tha you can colect stuff and i see them in the inventory but i dont know what to do with them.
There is no goal yet, the game is in very early alpha.

Do you have a post that explains the things you can do in the game right now?
ReplyDeleteBecause in the page that shows the controls, there are only the very basic ones, but not how to eat or put things in the inventory. Also for some reason i cant dominate the female cats, the left Shift dont work on them
You must be new here, because all of that was explained in previous posts.
DeletePlayer dominating the cat animation isn't done yet, so it's not implemented. It may come soon.
P and Space often hold debug actions that change in every build.
The "item button" (the one you pick up objects with) when hold allow for different actions.
Up and Down are for putting in inventory and consuming.
Left/Right are to offer the item (no use for now, but you will be able to gift and be gifted items in a future update)
Feel free to ask other questions, people may answer them later.
